A Little Bit About Me, Your Photographer!
Hello, my name is Christy Hall. Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little more about me! I am an on-location natural light photographer located in Craigsville, WV.
I am a mother of four wonderful kids and have been married to my best friend for 24 years. My kids have been in every activity since they were little: football, baseball, basketball, and band. I am what you would consider a crazy soccer mom that drives a minivan, except my kids don't play soccer. These activities, as well as because of my daughter, Kendra, who is handicapped, are the reasons I started photography.
I truly enjoy taking pictures; it is the only thing that can stop time forever. I love capturing that special moment in front of the camera, whether it is a pose or a candid moment. I love capturing all genres of photography, whether it is your newborn child, a pregnant mother, your baby turning the big one, a high school senior getting ready to go out on their own, the love of a newly engaged couple, or the love of a family. These are moments that you will never get back, and I want to help you capture them and cherish them forever!
I am who I am, I want you to know that I have no filter, what you see is what you get.
I am all about building trust and relationships.
I love my husband and my four kids more than they will ever know.
My daughter, Kendra, is my constant inspiration behind the lens to become a photographer. She is special needs. I noticed when I took her to get her pictures done at the local Wal-Mart, JC-Penny or Sears, or even some professional photographers, they have a set time limit and don't seem to want to work with a special needs child. You can't expe
Textct to just snap your fingers and get them to look at the camera, nor say smile and they do so. You have to work with the child to get that special picture; that was my inspiration. I call her my little butterfly and the song "Butterfly Kisses" by Alabama is a song that touches my heart deeply. Kendra is the reason I chose this name.
And again I am just dropping the name Chrysalis, but I will still represent the butterfly in my business. If you would like to know more on her condition it is called Wolf-Hirscchorn (4p-).
